⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read this information carefully before proceeding.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted:

  • Profile Information: Your name, bio, photos, preferences, and all profile data
  • Account Details: Email, phone number, and authentication information
  • Matches: All your matches and connection history
  • Messages: All chat conversations and message history
  • Photos: All uploaded profile pictures and additional photos
  • Preferences: Your matching preferences and settings
  • Activity Data: Your app usage history and interactions

Data That May Be Retained (Legally Required):

  • Transaction Records: Payment and subscription records (required for tax purposes)
  • Safety Reports: Reports of inappropriate behavior or safety concerns
  • Legal Records: Information required for legal compliance or investigations

Retention Period: This data may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Open the EdenLove App on your device
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right)
  3. Select "Account Settings" from the menu
  4. Scroll down to find "Delete Account" option
  5. Follow the confirmation steps to verify your identity
  6. Confirm deletion by entering your password or PIN
